What We Offer

Outreach Ministries

The mission of our Outreach Ministry is to be motivated and guided by our core values of peace, justice and community service; to encourage the development of outreach ministries that promote these values; and to motivate others to actively contribute to a more loving, peaceful and just world.

Outreach Ministry activities include:

• Social Justice: Headwaters Walk for Justice, Sojourners Moral Budget Vigil, Outfront Minnestoa Community Action Training

• Environment: Minnesota River Clean Ups, Household Hazardous Waste Disposal, Global Warming Day of Action at the State Capitol (pictured below)

• Hunger: Feed My Starving Children (pictured below), Disaster Relief Kits, Armful of Love

• Peace Advocacy: Mother's Day Walk for Peace, Conscientious Objector Workshop, Sojourners Peace Vigil, MoveOn.org sponsored Peace Activities

• Flood Relief (pictured above): Clean up after the August floods in southeast MN.
